So, what is the Dual Microchip Carlos and how does it work?

Well, our Dual Microchip is the only one in the world that identifies and locates your pet with 100% confidence and accuracy, and without any mistakes. And in the process ensuring the safety of owners and pets.

OK, so how does it work?

ANSWER 2

The implantation should only be carried out by veterinary professionals registered with the active CRMV. The Dual Microchip is implanted under the skin of the dog or cat in the nape of the neck between the shoulder blades, at an angle of 10 degrees to 25 degrees using the applicator that comes with the product and a maximum of 10 millimeters deep under the skin.

After proper asepsis of the site to be implanted, the veterinary professional should apply the Dual Microchip smoothly and without the animal feeling pain. It is usually quite painless for the animal.

There is need for local anesthesia or sedation of the animal. The procedure is quick and the pain is well tolerated by most animals. After implantation, the animal will not suffer any discomfort and does not suffer any side effects.

Can the Dual Microchip move through the Pet’s body once its implanted?

No, it’s coated with an anti-migratory capsule, which makes sure that the microchip will not move or migrate through the Pet’s body.

Does the Dual Microchip have a battery and is it a GPS tracker?

ANSWER 4

No, to both questions. It does not use batteries. It is only activated when approached by conventional readers or by a smartphone with a proximity reading, (NFC). And so, it does’nt need to be recharged.
Many people think that implantable microchips also track the pet, but this is not their function.
It is not a GPS tracker. The person who finds the lost pet does not need to have any application installed, they just bring the smartphone close to the pet for it to work.

When the person approaches the pet with a smartphone, we send notifications to your smartphone and also the person’s location in a secure chat for you to be able to rescue your pet.

My dog is quite young, what is the ideal age of the pet to be able to implant the chip?

ANSWER 5

Several studies recommend applying it close to the date of the third dose of vaccine, when the animals are approximately 90 days old, but there are studies that recommend the application from 180 days old. Therefore, we recommend that you consult your trusted Veterinarian.

Yes, our Dual Microchip has national and international certifications and our company is registered with the international ICAR. All of our Microchips have the ISO certifications below.

Does the Dual Microchip come with any kind of certificate to prove that the dog is chipped?

Yes, all of our Dual Microchips come with a certificate that allows the owner to travel nationally and internationally with their pet. The veterinary professional who does the application completes and signs the certificate and gives it to the owner on the same day as the implant procedure.

Can pets have more than one microchip implanted?

ANSWER 8

Yes, if the pet already has a traditional microchip which only works with the conventional reader used by veterinarians the pet may have a second microchip implanted with the possibility of reading it also through smartphones.

Are there any additional advantages of the Dual Microchip?

Well yes, in addition to the Dual Microchip, owners have free access to the Pupz application on the Google app store and Apple app store, which will store a complete medical record for their pet and also the possibility of registering photos for pet facial recognition (Pet Face ID), which increases even more the safety of the Pet and the possibilities of rescues in cases of loss.

Is the Dual Microchip sterilized and what is the shelf life?

Yes, all Dual Microchips are sterilized with ethylene oxide gas and are valid for 5 years after application. After the procedure the duration of the Dual Microchip is for the lifetime of the pet, that is, during the entire life of the Pet.
