Contractions for beginners lesson one (1)
In English we use a lot of contractions in our language. For this reason it is important to understand and learn those contractions. Below there is a list of 10 contractions and an example sentence using those contractions.
1. I’m (I am) – I’m happy today. Can you make a sentence with “I’m”?
2. You’re (You are) – You’re my best friend. Can you make a sentence with “You’re”?
3. He’s (He is) – He’s a good student. Can you make a sentence with “He’s”?
4. She’s (She is) – She’s playing outside. Can you make a sentence with “She’s”?
5. It’s (It is) – It’s raining now. Can you make a sentence with “It’s”?
